Mountain Cruisin' | BcB Motorcycle Adventure Aug 29–Sept 1

$475.00

Ride. Camp. Stargaze. Repeat.

This one’s for the real ones. Limited spots available for an unforgettable 3-night moto adventure through some of the Northeast’s most iconic landscapes — with long, scenic rides by day and star-filled skies by night.

We’ll kick things off with a welcome night at Basecamp Brooklyn Estates in the Catskills before heading deep into the North Country. Think winding mountain roads, crisp air, and the kind of camaraderie you only get around a campfire after a long ride. From the Adirondack High Peaks to the Green Mountains of Vermont, this is a summer send-off you’ll never forget.

🏁 What to Expect:

  • Special motocamp road trip —for those who thrive on racking up miles on their bike and chasing the road less traveled

  • 5–8 hours of riding per day through some of the Northeast’s most stunning backroads

  • 3 nights of camping under the stars: NY → VT → MA

  • A deliberately small, close-knit group for safety and connection — no showboating, no speed demons, just riders who value the journey

  • Conquer 4 mountain ranges! Catskills, Adirondacks, Green Mountains, and Berkshires

  • Community meals, campfire hangs, and epic photo ops along the way

🍳 Food + Fire:

  • Thursday night: Snacks + beers around the fire at Basecamp Brooklyn Estates, Catskills

  • Friday & Saturday nights: Cookout-style dinners by Chef Allan at our campsites (plus more beers around the fire)

  • Mornings (Fri–Sun): Coffee, tea, and light breakfast to fuel your ride

  • Lunches: Grab your own roadside eats during pit stops

🌄 Route Highlights:

  • Ride up to Liberty, NY to gather at Basecamp Brooklyn Estates

  • Early morning cruise through the scenic curves of Catskill Park

  • A direct ride north to Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks — camp beneath the stars in one of the darkest skies on the East Coast

  • Conquer the legendary switchbacks of Whiteface Mountain, soaking in breathtaking panoramic views

  • Cross Lake Champlain by ferry, gliding into the lush landscapes of Vermont

  • Twist and turn through the rolling hills of the Green Mountains to charming Shaftsbury, VT for our 3rd night of camping

  • Meander through the historic roads of the Berkshires as we make our way home

  • Roll back into Brooklyn, road-worn and soul-full, carrying stories you’ll be telling for years

🚗 Support + Gear:
While Allan leads the motorcycle pack, Erin will follow in our BcB overland vehicle loaded with food, drinks, and any gear that won’t fit on your motorcycles. If you don’t have your own moto camping gear, no worries — you can rent a tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad from us, and we’ll haul it for you.

This trip is for experienced riders who crave the open road, crisp mountain air, and the magic of campfire stories under a Milky Way sky.

Words from Happy Campers

Relaxing weekend for refreshing my energy

Every Basecamp Brooklyn event I’ve attended is the perfect mix of outdoor adventure, relaxation, good company, and absolutely delicious food! It’s great to meet likeminded people and spend a weekend refreshing my energy at such a beautiful, quiet campsite. -Erin H.

A triumph on many levels

“When one sets out to go camping they pack for most contingencies and anticipate the length of drive, ground gear set up time, fire starting and maintenance followed by the labor of meal prep and let's face it everyone looks forward to strapping on the feed bag but rarely does it deliver more than the standard fare. This is particularly NOT the Basecamp method.

To know that your meal prep for the entire weekend is taken care of and that what you will be dining on is of the gourmet variety is just the beginning of what awaits you. I have only been on Basecamp excursions I therefore cannot speak from any other camping experiences and I consider myself lucky. The Dark Skies weekend was a triumph on many levels first because of the pleasant road conditions and travel to the destination, second was the ample accommodations, third to find by nightfall with limited light pollution at the site the Milky Way was readily visible overhead. Pitching the tent close to the bubbling brook assured that beyond the centered spirit the meditation observation we all took part in afforded me, the aquatic vibration would mellow me off to a dream state in short order. The take home schwag on top of all that, was an added plus that is currently still in use today. To get out and about like this again, sign me up.” -Chad W.
