Taking the Bus from NYC to Liberty, NY

If you're coming from New York City and planning to take the bus to one of our events in Liberty, here's exactly how to do it. Take the CoachUSA ShortLine bus from NYC to Liberty, and we’ll pick you up from the bus stop and bring you to Basecamp.

You’ll take two buses each way — one to Monticello, then one to Liberty:

Step 1: Port Authority → Monticello

Origin: Port Authority Bus Terminal (NYC)
Destination: Monticello ShortLine Terminal – Monticello, NY
Choose: The Friday schedule (website only shows this week’s date — it doesn’t matter)
- Select one of these departure times: 12:30 PM or 4:30 PM

Step 2: Monticello → Liberty

Go back to the search page and enter:
- Origin: Monticello ShortLine Terminal – Monticello, NY
- Destination: Main St – Liberty CACHE, Liberty, NY
Choose the time that lines up with your Monticello arrival: 2:30 PM or 6:30 PM
✅ Add this second ticket to your cart

For Your Return Trip on Sunday (August 17)

Just repeat the process in reverse (looking at the Sunday Schedule this time):

Liberty → Monticello

Choose the 11:30 AM departure

Monticello → Port Authority

Choose the 1:00 PM departure

✅ Add both to your cart and check out with all 4 tickets.

Once you’ve added all 4 tickets to your cart, check out and print your vouchers. You’ll exchange them for a physical ticket at Port Authority before your Friday departure.

📣 IMPORTANT:
Once you’ve booked your tickets, please let us know which Friday arrival time you’ll be on (12:30 PM or 4:30 PM departure from NYC) so we can meet you at the Liberty stop and bring you to Basecamp.
